How you can help your child study English at home!

• Fill your home with English TV shows, videos, music, books, magazines, comics, newspapers and posters.
• Make English a natural part of everyday life, not something only once-a-week.

英語の環境を家の中につくる
• 身近に、英語のTV番組やビデオ、音楽、本、雑誌、マンガ、新聞、ポスターなどをたくさん置きましょう。
• 日常生活の中でさりげなく英語の時間をつくりましょう。（１週間に１回ではなく、毎日！）
• "English Days"を決め、家族全員が英語で話すようにしてみましょう。

2. Set a regular time daily to focus on English and playfully study together
• Review the textbook and homework together. Refer to our email summaries and use the digital recordings we make in class to practice pronunciation.
• Use flash cards to review the alphabet and vocabulary.
• With younger children, practice writing the alphabet together while saying the sounds of the letters.
• Have fun writing with not only pencils but also crayons, chalk, markers, etc.
• Read English children's books together not worrying whether your own pronunciation is perfect.
• Tsukuba Public Library is free and Amazon has lots of inexpensive books.
